Alternative Dispute Resolution

Alternative Dispute Resolution, or "ADR", is a means of resolving disputes or as an intermediate step before a court case gets set down for hearing between the parties. The use of ADR is encouraged by the courts.

We are able to assist, guide and represent you during the following alternatives to litigation:

  • Mediation

Mediation involves the appointment of a neutral, independent third party (the mediator), to assist the parties to reach a negotiated agreement.

  • Arbitration

Arbitration is a private dispute resolution procedure which arises where the parties have entered into a written arbitration agreement.

  • Adjudication

Adjudication is a process for resolving disputes through an impartial expert adjudicator.
