Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor

Peter has over 30 years of experience as a qualified lawyer. He initially trained and qualified in the City of London following which he spent three years in Hong Kong working on insurance and commercial matters before returning to the UK to specialise in commercial, employment and property related work.

Peter is fluent in Spanish, having been born and brought up in Central America. He acts for several organisations in the UK having links with Central and South America. He has co-led two trade missions sponsored by the former DTI, one to Chile and Argentina, and one to Central America. He is also the Chairman of the Society of British and Argentine Lawyers (SOBAL).

Peter has handled a variety of matters in Argentina, working closely with local lawyers, which include joint ventures, share sale agreements, succession claims, property disposals and dispute resolution.   

On the commercial side, he has been involved in all areas of company/commercial work, and drafting many diverse types of commercial agreement. He also specialises in Employment Law and has extensive experience in both commercial and civil litigation, including mediation and arbitration. In 2000 he received a Post Graduate certificate in European Law from the Southampton Institute.
